List of anchor safety warnings based on the requirements of General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR): 1. Anchor selection: * Make sure that the selected anchor is suitable for the type of substrate (concrete, brick, hollow) and the load it is supposed to carry. * Do not use universal anchors for special tasks - they may not provide the required safety. 2. Load: * Never exceed the permissible anchor load. Information about the maximum load can be found in the manufacturer’s technical documentation. * Include not only the weight of the attached element, but also additional loads, e.g. wind power. 3. Assembly: * Strictly follow the installation instructions of the anchor manufacturer. Incorrect installation can reduce the load capacity of the anchor or cause damage to it. * Use the appropriate tools (drill, torque wrench) and mounting accessories (drills, tips) according to the manufacturer's recommendations. * Check the diameter and depth of the drilled hole - they must comply with the dimensions of the anchor. * Clean the hole from dust and debris before installing the anchor. 4. Protection: * Make sure that there are no installations (electrical, gas, water) at the installation site that could be damaged during drilling. * Use personal protective equipment (glasses, gloves) when installing anchors. 5. Corrosion: * Choose anchors made of corrosion resistant materials if they are exposed to moisture or weathering. * Regularly check the condition of anchors, especially in aggressive environments (e.g. near the sea or in chemical plants). 6. Damage: * Do not use anchors that are damaged, deformed or corroded. * If you notice damage on mounted anchors, replace them immediately with new ones. 7. Disassembly: * Dismantle the anchors according to the manufacturer's instructions using the appropriate tools. * Secure holes after dismantling anchors in an appropriate manner (e.g. fill with mass).
