Informacje o bezpieczeństwie

List of disc safety warnings based on the requirements of General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR): * Always use discs suitable for the type of material being processed and the power tool. Incorrect selection of the shield can lead to its damage and consequently to injury. * Check that the shield is not damaged (e.g. cracked, chipped). A damaged shield can fall apart during operation, posing a serious threat. * Make sure the dial is properly fixed and tightened. The loosely attached dial can vibrate and even fall off the power tool. * Always use a protective cover designed for your type of shield. The cover protects against chipping and possible disintegration of the shield. * Wear safety glasses and a dust mask while working. This protects the eyes and airways from chipping and dust. * Use protective gloves and ear cups. The gloves protect your hands from cuts and vibrations, while the ear cups protect your ears from excessive noise. * Before starting work, make sure that there are no bystanders nearby. Chipping can pose a threat to people nearby. * Do not overload the shield by applying too much pressure. Overload can lead to damage to the shield and increases the risk of recoil. * Regularly check the technical condition of the power tool. Using a malfunctioning power tool increases the risk of an accident. * Once the job is done, wait for the dial to stop before putting the power tool down. Touching the rotating disc threatens to cut. * Store shields in a dry and safe place, away from children. Incorrect storage can lead to damage to the discs. * Use only discs that meet safety standards. Discs that do not meet the standards can be dangerous to use. * Always disconnect the power tool from the power supply before replacing the disc. This prevents the device from accidentally starting. * Do not use side cutting discs if they are not intended for this. Side cutting can damage the shield and cause it to fall apart. * Always follow the instructions of the manufacturer of the disc and power tool. The instructions contain detailed information on safe use. * Remember about proper ventilation when working in closed rooms. Dust generated during cutting can be harmful to health. * Do not use discs whose expiration date has expired. Abrasives lose their properties over time, which increases the risk of disc breakage. * Clean and maintain discs regularly. Remove impurities and rust that can weaken the structure of the disc. * Pay attention to the direction of rotation of the dial. Mounting the disc in the wrong direction can cause damage or recoil. *Please note that safety when working with shields is largely up to me. Compliance with the above rules minimizes the risk of accidents.
